Superloans Privacy Policy

Superloans is committed to protecting your personal information and handling it in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect your personal information when you interact with us.

Superloans, we, us, our refers to Superloans Limited (the company), its subsidiary companies and Superloans staff acting in their professional capacity.

This definition also includes the official Superloans mobile applications available on iOS and Android, and any features, content, or services accessed through those applications.

When using bank statement retrieval and analysis providers, we do not receive or store your online banking login credentials. These credentials are provided directly to the third-party service provider and are not accessible to Superloans.

Where we collect information from a third party, we will take reasonable steps to notify you of the fact that we have collected your information.

We collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:

We may obtain personal and credit information about you from, and disclose your personal and credit information to, Centrix Group Limited.

This information may include your credit history, payment history, arrears, defaults and other credit-related information. We may use this information for credit checks, identity verification, AML/CFT compliance and other purposes related to assessing your application, managing your account, or meeting our legal obligations.

Centrix collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information to provide credit reporting services to us and to other authorised Centrix subscribers. This may include providing updated credit information, alerts or ongoing credit-monitoring services.

Debt collection services

We may disclose your personal information to Recoveries Corporation New Zealand Limited when we require assistance with debt collection, account recovery or related services.

The information we provide may include your contact details, account information, payment history, arrears, defaults, and any other information necessary for Recoveries Corporation to contact you, assess your circumstances, and recover amounts owed to us. Recoveries Corporation may also collect additional information directly from you.

Recoveries Corporation collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal information to provide debt collection and account management services to us and to other clients who use their services. This may include locating you, contacting you, negotiating repayment arrangements, and updating us on the status of your account.

Financial analysis services

We may use financial analysis services provided by Experian New Zealand Limited and Credit Sense Australia to help assess your application, verify your financial situation, or meet our legal obligations.

With your authorisation, these service providers collect your bank transaction data, account details, income and expense information, and other financial insights directly from your bank. They then analyse this information and provide us with a report summarising your financial position.
